Key Facts

• 48 teams from 9 states (Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington) attended, for a total of just over 800 high school students.
• 12 returning schools / 16 teams of the 36 teams that attended the inaugural 2017 tournament.
• Average distance of 182.6 miles from Princeton University.
• Median distance of 60 miles from Princeton University.
• 128 undergraduate and graduate volunteers from 25 academic departments volunteered.
• Team of 19 organizers from 8 academic departments planned the tournament.
• 64 rooms in 11 buildings across campus were used.
• First college-run invitational tournament in country to waive registration fees.
